There’s a lot happening in the lives of the Sanders’. There’s never a dull moment. Since June I have FINALLY found a good paying, full-time job! PTL! It’s great to be amongst the employed after about 4 years of temporary jobs, part-time jobs, and very poorly paying jobs. I’m also doing something that I like – taxes & tax accounting. I’m very thankful to God for His provision, for His love, for His grace & mercy. He is my provider & strength!
Thanksgiving
What am I thankful for? I’m thankful for all of the usual things that people talk about – husband, 3 grown children all serving the Lord, 5 wonderful, beautiful grandchildren with 1 more on the way, living in America – the list can go on for pages. I am probably most thankful for the Son of God leaving his home in heaven, giving up his heavenly life to become the son of man & give his life for me! That’s amazing! Even if I had been the only one on the face of the earth – Christ would have still done it! That’s what I’m most thankful for. Christ has done so much for me & for those whom I love.
“But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought & never fails to bear fruit . . . Heal me, O Lord, & I will be healed; save me & I will be saved, for you are the one I praise” (Jeremiah 17:7-8, 14).
